On a Wednesday 25th September we celebrated National Fitness Day at Perry Court and followed the UK Active guidelines.

Children were encouraged to complete 60 minutes of physical activity during their school day.

During our fitness assembly children danced and worked out and increased their heart rates to achieve their 10 minutes towards hitting 60 minutes of exercise.

At break and lunch time children were set three different challenges. This was popular and loads of children participated to try and achieve a personal best and to have fun. Our challenges were:

– How many skips can you do continuously?
– How long can you hula hoop for?
– How many one handed catches and throws can you do?

Well done everyone for giving it their all!
