On Wednesday 21st November, Year 5 went to the Tutankhamun exhibition in Dorchester. A spectacular recreation of Tutankhamun’s tomb and treasures. It was a fantastic way to find out the answer to our topic question ‘What was inside Tutankhamun’s tomb?’ We also went into the mummies exhibition and discovered all about the process of embalming and mummification.
The children had a great day and they are looking forward to applying what they saw to their topic learning at school.
