Term 4 sport has been successful! We’ve also managed to get some sport kit sponsors to make us stand out across the schools in Bristol.
KS1 Gymnastics Festival
All 13 of our children who attended the KS1 gymnastics festival achieved medals! Our Y1/2 Level 2 team finished 2nd as a team! Miley and Poppy got individual placing medals. Our Level 1 Jaguar team came 3rd! A massive well done to – Stanley, Beau, Rayah, Nathaniel, Jessica, Chase, Lexi, Leylend, Poppy, Miley, Lillie, Lilly and Mollie-Mae.
Y3/4 Football League
All the boys who took part across year 3 and 4 combined teams and mixed to create a development team. The boys won a remarkable amount of games and scored some insane goals! They finished 2nd in the league which was well deserved. Well done to – Shay, Luke, Alfie P, Alfie J, Kian, Joshua, Louie, Oliver, Theo, Amedu, Frankie, Ronnie and Liam.
KS2 Hockey Festival
15 children took part in a KS2 Hockey’s festival at Merchants Academy where an incredible 22 schools were entered. We took 3 teams – A, B and C teams. Our A team were undefeated at the end of the group stages made it to the quarter finals and won to progress to the semi-final. The A team played Birdwell B in the Semi final and won 1-0 and progressed to the final to play Victoria Park. Victoria Park thoroughly deserved the win with their skills and determination showed and our A team ended up finishing 2nd and have qualified for the West of England Spring Games in April where they’ll represent South Bristol. Well done to all the children who participated – Beau, Alicia, Freya, Ava, Gracey, Emily, Charlie, Oliwier, Justin, Oliver, Bailey, Archie, Courtney, Harley and Joshua.
