This week both Nursery and Reception traveled down to Court Farm in Somerset to learn more about the animals on the farm and also how the food we eat gets from the farm to our table. The children loved seeing and touching the animals and even riding on a tractor. They bottle fed the lambs, enjoyed playing outside in the fields and parks and of course eating ice cream!
Everyone had a lovely time…highlights included meeting (and stroking) all the animals, bottle feeding the lambs, the castle play area, eating ice creams and the EXTREMELY bumpy and very funny tractor ride (made even more bumpy by a very flat tyre!)
