After school we had some children from your classes take part in the Cross Country Competition which was held at Ashton Park School. The course was very long and each child showed determination to compete the course. Each race has 80+ children in it. There was 14 schools involved this evening.
A special mention to Harley 5LB, Justin 5LB and Alexander 6MM who have all qualified to represent South Bristol at the Inter Areas Cross Country Championships on Saturday 24th November @ Ashton Park School against North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. In the Y5 boys race, Justin came 9th and Harley came 14th. In the Y6 boys race, Alexander came 11th. Top 16 in each was selected but selections were only available for Y5 and Y6 races. **
