On Friday 27th September the school welcomed parents and carers into the classrooms to learn alongside their children. We were thrilled to see so many come ‘back to school’ for a morning of learning.

The children in Reception loved sharing their story, The Little Red Hen, with their parents/carers, as well as showing them around their new classrooms. Year 1 and 2 showed off their amazing imaginations through their writing and all they have already achieved over the last few weeks.

In Year 3 and 4 it was all about numbers! The children challenged their parents to test this addition, subtraction, multiplication and division skills through games and timed tasks – a real collaboration of learning!

Year 5 and 6 used this time to show their parents how they can help at home. Reading skills were picked apart and modeled, allowing parents and carers to understand a little more of how they can help at home!

It was a great opportunity for us to ‘Open minds, open doors,’ welcoming our community into our fantastic learning environment. Thank you all for coming, we will be seeing you all again soon!
