On Friday 18th May we were delighted to invite parents and carers to join the children on field to enjoy an afternoon tea to celebrate the Royal Wedding and promote British Values at the Academy. This event was in aid of Brain Trust. The school raised over £200 for this charity.

We were lucky enough to have Ed Morrison, OBE, with us to open the event. As a grandfather to current pupils and father to old pupils he was able to share with our stakeholders the importance of our Academy Values and congratulated the staff and pupils on all their hard work throughout the year.

Everyone enjoyed the sunshine, music and cake. Year 6 children raised over £200 towards their Prom.

Thank you to all who attended and supported the event. It is yet another example of our school becoming a key part of the community.
