On Thursday 13th December all KS2 SATs results were published nation-wide to allow the Academy to compare their results against other schools in the area and country. This was a great opportunity for the school to show their amazing progress this year. Michael Yong, reporter from the Bristol Post, even shared the news with the city.

‘One school to turn it around this year was Perry Court E-ACT in Hengrove. Over the past 10 years, the school’s results have spiralled. But under new head teacher Richard Healey their results have gone from 16% to 69%, well above the Bristol average.

“Our staff really bought into it, and we had great support from the other E-ACT schools around Bristol,” he said. “The community – our parents and families – have really been part of this journey. It’s fantastic.”
