On Wednesday 22nd May, pupils, staff, parents and carers took part in Perry Court’s Race for Life. The school community came together, collecting sponsorship and donating money for wearing pink and blue for Cancer Research UK.
It was a brilliant afternoon with a huge crowd to cheer on the runners! All children received a medal for their efforts, which was handed to them by Laura (the Local Fundraising Manager for Cancer Research UK in Bristol). Laura is looking forward to coming back to Perry Court to do an assembly with the pupils about the work of Cancer Research UK.
In total, as an Academy community, we have managed to raise an INCREDIBLE £2,182.42! Thank you so much to parents, carers and the wider community for your contributions, joining the fight against cancer, raising more money to beat cancer sooner.
