On Monday 1st April Year 1 and 2 spent the day exploring the Arboretum at Westonbirt. It was a wonderful day to visit, with the sun shining and the blossom in full bloom. The children spent the day taking part in a selection of workshops to support their science topic – plants.
The day included Life Cycles; Plants as Producers; Identifying plants; Food chains and the Plant Survival game!
All the children enjoyed the visit and we are very grateful to all those parents and carers who joined us on the day to ensure the children could attend.
